Import a schedule before reviewing realtime feeds.

Open Transit RT needs an active GTFS feed version before Vehicle Positions, Trip Updates, Alerts, validators, and readiness review can be interpreted correctly.

Schedule Import Flow

  1. Choose a GTFS ZIPUse public-safe or authorized schedule data. Keep private agency files out of public demos.
  2. Import or reviewConfirm required files, row counts, service dates, routes, stops, trips, and active feed version.
  3. Review validationUse internal import validation and configured canonical validator records when available.
  4. Check feed URLsAfter the active schedule exists, review the public schedule path and realtime outputs.

Limits

A successful local import does not prove source correctness, agency approval, validator-clean public deployment, consumer acceptance, compliance, production readiness, or ETA quality.
